The Red Devils have had a tough start to the campaign and they have picked up only 12 points from the first eight games.

Despite this, there have been some positives. Fernandes\' form has been one of those. He recently scored with a stunning volley versus Burnley.

This has now been adjudged as the Goal of the Month. Fernandes has had more touches than any player in the final third this season.

Despite his hard work, United have struggled for consistency. This has been partly due to his poor record at the back this campaign.

Last season, United proved tough to beat at home with a settled backline, but they have lacked the same consistency this term.

With several defensive injuries, there has been a lack of cohesion and the club were lucky to beat Brentford over the weekend.
