Chelsea are lining up an ambitious move to sign Napoli striker Victor Osimhen in January, according to Fichajes.
The Blues signed Nicolas Jackson from Villarreal earlier this summer, but the Senegalese has been disappointing with just two league goals so far.
As a result, the club could invest on a marquee signing up front and reports claim that they could make an ambitious swoop for Napoli's Osimhen.
Osimhen's current deal with the Serie A champions expires in June 2025 and he has no plans of putting pen-to-paper on a contract extension.
Napoli would ideally prefer to keep him until the end of the campaign, but the Blues are prepared to tempt them with a lucrative winter deal.
The club could be willing to pay as much as €150m as they look to ward off interest from other teams, who may only enter the race in the summer.
The Blues were successful with a similar strategy on Enzo Fernandez last winter and they are hopeful of repeating the same with Osimhen.
