Manchester United are reportedly planning to sign Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi next year.
The Red Devils were keen on landing an elite centre-back during the summer, but they were unable to do so due to their financial situation.
They had planned to offload Harry Maguire to purchase a replacement, but the former captain refused to head for the exit door.
It is now reported that United are still keen on landing a marquee centre-back and have identified Guehi as a potential candidate.
Palace are prepared to part ways with their prized asset for £60 million and it is claimed that United would be willing to pay the fee.
Guehi is also open to securing a move to Old Trafford but he may have to wait until the summer due to the lack of transfer funds.
With Financial Fair play in mind, United can't spend big money in January unless they manage to recoup sufficient funds from player sales.
