After losing out to Pep Guardiola in the race to take over at Barcelona, Michael Laudrup's agent seems to suggest that his client is on his way to England.
The Getafe boss has done a fantastic job this season, leading Madrid's lesser side to a Copa del Rey final as well as the Uefa Cup quarter finals.
After such success, it is believed that Laudrup is hoping to move to a slightly bigger club where he can really make his mark in management.
Super agent Bayram Tutumlu said the following in a recent interview:
"There is interest in him from England, Portugal and Russia,"
"I do not speak of Chelsea, but of others. His cycle with Getafe is finished."
With Sven looking like he is on his way out of the City of Manchester Stadium (after showdown talks with Thaksin Shinawatra), that post appears to be the most likely and Laudrup is a name that would surely please the City fans.
