Arsenal star Gabriel Jesus has been sent for scans on a hamstring injury sustained against Sevilla in the Champions League.
The Gunners returned to winning ways on Tuesday night with a 2-1 triumph over the La Liga outfit at the Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan.
Jesus was the star of the game. He delivered a superb assist for Gabriel Martinelli's goal before scoring the club's second with a stellar strike.
Unfortunately, he picked up a hamstring injury in the final minutes. The club have now sent him for scans to find out the severity of the problem.
The news should concern the Gunners, considering they have lacked the cutting edge from the number nine position in the current campaign.
Eddie Nketiah has struggled with his form after an exciting start to the season. Jesus has been much livelier with three Champions League goals.
The Brazilian has yet to shine in the Premier League, but he is an upgrade on Nketiah with his tireless work rate and better finishing skills.
