Manchester United have revealed that Harry Maguire and Luke Shaw will continue to be assessed ahead of the Premier League game against Liverpool on the road.
The duo sustained groin and hamstring injuries respectively in the recent Champions League defeat to Bayern Munich. Maguire was substituted before the break while Shaw did not turn up after half-time.
Erik ten Hag did not provide any update on the duo in his post-match presser and United have now revealed that they will continue to be assessed. A fresh update is expected before tomorrow's press conference.
Aside from the duo, Victor Lindelof is also a doubt for the game. If the trio are unavailable, Raphael Varane and Jonny Evans are expected to line up at the heart of the defence against Jurgen Klopp's side.
United are currently sixth in the table with 27 points on the board and they can ill-afford another defeat which could drop them further behind the Champions League places.
