Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino has heaped praise on his players following a 2-0 Premier League win over Sheffield United at home.
The Blues returned to winning ways against the Blades with a resounding display. Nicolas Jackson and Cole Palmer were the goalscorers.
Speaking after the game, Pochettino said that he was happy with the victory and said that he is looking forward to the Carabao Cup quarter-final.
He said: "I am happy because the players deserve the victory. We need to realise the things we need to change if we want to improve."
"Three points important and Tuesday we have an important game against Newcastle and it's important to arrive with confidence."
Chelsea were always expected to beat the Blades and they secured a deserved result. Their next big challenge in on Tuesday night.
The west London side have the chance to win silverware via the Carabao Cup and have a brilliant opportunity to reach the semi-final stage.
