Turkish club Fenerbahce are looking to negotiate a pre-contract agreement with Manchester United striker Anthony Martial.
The France international is currently in his ninth season with the Red Devils, and the club have decided against renewing his contract.
His deal will expire at the end of June next year and Fenerbahce want to sign him on a free transfer as soon as he departs the club.
Martial will be free to negotiate a pre-contract with an overseas club in January and Fenerbahce are looking to beat the queue.
It remains to be seen whether the 27-year-old is tempted to consider the challenge. He may have to accept a huge pay-cut to join them.
Martial could receive close to his current weekly wages of £250,000-a-week in Saudi Arabia. He is bound to receive offers in January.
The former Monaco man has been injury-free this term, but he has struggled for consistency with only two goals in all competitions.
