Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has confirmed that two midfielders will be sidelined for the Premier League game at Liverpool.
The Gunners are currently top of the league standings and will be aiming to maintain the advantage with another win at Anfield.
Ahead of the game, Arteta has provided an injury update on a few players.
Thomas Partey was recently spotted stepping up his rehab after his thigh injury, but the game will come too soon for the Ghanaian.
Alongside him, Jorginho is also likely to miss the contest. He is hugely doubtful after a foot injury and may not make the squad.
However, there has been some good news on the injury front with Mohamed Elneny back in training after his hamstring issue.
Arteta recently said that the Egyptian's concern was a minor one and he has returned in time for the much-awaited clash against the Reds.
Arsenal will be eyeing their first league win at Anfield since 2012 on Saturday. A victory would be a huge statement from them.
