Arsenal legend Ian Wright was far from pleased following the club's 2-1 Premier League defeat to Fulham on the road.
The Gunners suffered their second straight defeat in the top-flight after a lacklustre performance against the Cottagers.
They opened the scoring with some luck through Bukayo Saka but never looked like scoring another goal for the rest of the derby.
Speaking after the game, Wright questioned the lack of expression and freedom in the final third from such a young exciting team.
He said: "Such a lack of expression and freedom in the final third from such a young exciting team."
"Where is the courage and conviction to play and try things. As soon as teams stop us you just see the confidence leave us. Have to get them going again."
The Gunners have dropped from first to fourth in the table in the space of one week. They will be in FA Cup action next weekend.
The club host Liverpool in the third round of the competition and manager Mikel Arteta needs to fire up his players for the game.
