Arsenal are reportedly keen on signing Santos striker Marcos Leonardo during the ongoing transfer window.
The Gunners are expected to strengthen their strikeforce this month and they have already been linked with many names.
Brentford striker Ivan Toney has been one of those mentioned, but his £80m price tag could put the Gunners off from making an offer.
Meanwhile, Leonardo is another player that has been on their radar and Sky Sports claim that the Gunners are looking to sign him.
Leonardo netted 21 goals for Santos in the most recent campaign but they were still relegated from the Brazilian Serie A for the first time.
He has made the decision to move to Europe at the turn of the year and it is claimed that Arsenal are exploring a formal approach.
It remains to be seen whether the Gunners make a move for Leonardo, given he is inexperienced playing at the top level in Europe.
He has a good scoring record in the Brazilian top-flight but he may need time to adapt to the demands of the Premier League.
