Arsenal midfielder Jorginho has revealed that the club have yet to open negotiations with him over a possible renewal.
The Italian has been a fringe player for the Gunners since his arrival from Chelsea last year, but he was brilliant against Liverpool on Sunday.
The 32-year-old formed a terrific partnership with Declan Rice in the centre of the park and he was named the man of the match after the 3-1 win.
Speaking after the game, he was presented with several questions including one on his future, he said: "I am trying to enjoy the moment, to be honest."
"We haven't spoken about it (my contract) and I just want to win games with Arsenal."
Arsenal currently have the option to extend Jorginho's deal by another year, but they have not activated the clause as things stand.
The club have their sights on landing Martin Zubimendi who is a similar player and he could replace Jorginho in the summer.
