Aston Villa are reportedly close to sealing a deal for Arsenal defender Justin Hoyte. Martin O'Neill is a long term admirer of the right-back, who will reportedly join the Villains for around £3 million.
Arsene Wenger has always maintained that Justin Hoyte has a future at the club, but Hoyte's lack of first-team action could drive him away from the club.
It is believed that Hoyte is being linied up to replace Olof Mellberg who joined Juventus this month on a Bosman ruling.
Unfortunately for Arsenal, this could be yet another young starlet that just hasn't made been given the chance to shine in the first-team that seeks pastures new.
