Krkic wants Barca chance

Krkic wants Barca chance

12 September 2007 - 14:00

Barcelona's Spanish U-17 starlet Bojan Krkic has today returned to the Catalan club with one thing on his mind: getting into the first team. Krkic was one of the stars of the recent U-17 World Cup for Spain.

  • Chelsea ready to pay €75m for Eduardo Camavinga
  • Chelsea planning move for Strasbourg striker Joaquin Panichelli

  • Krkic, along with Giovanni dos Santos of Mexico; are regarded as the best young prospects of the Catalan club which recently oversaw the development of Argentinian superstar Lionel Messi.

Krkic himself feels he has an opportunity at first-team action thanks to the injury of Samuel Eto'o.

"Samuel Eto'o's injury is unfortunate for the team, but it means a forward less that I have to get in front of. I am continuing to work at 100 per cent in training in order to be ready for when my chance comes. I will try to make the most of any chance I get."
