Napoli striker Victor Osimhen is expecting an offer from Arsenal in the coming weeks, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.
The Gunners are determined to land a marquee striker this summer and they have identified Osimhen as one of their potential targets.
The club have yet to make an approach for his services, but the Nigerian star believes the London giants will propose to sign him soon.
However, a deal may not be easy to pull off. Arsenal have no desire to meet the reported €130m release clause in his current deal.
The Gunners are concerned over his fitness record. Osimhen is currently out injured for four weeks with a muscular problem.
They are reluctant to make a huge outlay as a result and Napoli may need to lower their demands for a transfer to materialise.
A number of elite Saudi Arabian clubs are also keen on signing Osimhen, but the player dreams of playing in the Premier League next term.
