Chelsea are unlikely to enter the race to sign Bournemouth striker Dominic Solanke this summer, according to The Athletic.
The Blues are on the hunt for a new marksman and they have been linked with multiple players over the past few weeks.
Solanke, who was previously in their academy, is one of the options being considered, but an offer is unlikely on the cards.
The Englishman currently has a release clause worth £65 million in his deal and Chelsea have no desire to meet the valuation.
Hence, they are expected to explore other options in the transfer market.
Aston Villa's Jhon Duran is one of the prime targets for the Blues, but the London giants are reluctant to spend over the odds.
Discussions are ongoing with the Midlands outfit. The Blues are hoping to negotiate a swap deal with Unai Emery's side.
Ian Maatsen could move the other way in a straight-exchange deal. Maatsen is open to joining a Champions League outfit.
