Bridge chased by Juventus?

Bridge chased by Juventus?

19 May 2008 - 18:36

One of the more shocking rumours of the day came from Italy, where Chelsea left-back Wayne Bridge is being linked with a shock move to join his old boss, Claudio Ranieri, at Juventus.

  • Chelsea midfielder looking forward to London derby vs Spurs
  • Arsenal in the front row to sign Dutch striker

  • Wayne Bridge is set to link up with the England squad this week, and the left-back is keen to speak to Fabio Capello regarding the interest of the Italian giants.

Juventus are believed to be preparing a £6 million offer for the Chelsea full back, who has become increasingly frustrated with the lack of first team opportunities at Stamford Bridge; as Ashley Cole continues to keep him out of the first-team.

Avram Grant is known to be keen to keep all of his players at the club, but Bridge has waited a long time to secure first team football that has never arrived.

Tottenham and Liverpool are interested in the England international too and will be monitoring the situation.
