Everton have successfully wrapped up a deal to sign Denmark international winger Jesper Lindstrøm from Italian outfit Napoli, with the Toffees reportedly paying 15 million euros for the 24-year-old winger. Lindstrom is comfortable playing in attacking midfield or on the right flank, and Everton boss Sean Dyche is hopeful that the former Eintracht Frankfurt star will add an attacking threat to his side ahead of the new season.
Lindstrom had a disappointing spell in Naples, despite playing in 22 Serie A games the attacker was unable to score a single goal. However, Lindstrom has been praised for his creative intent and has performed well for Denmark's national teams in the 16 caps that he has so far earned.
Everton have financial constraints to meet and will only be able to sign 1 or 2 players this summer, so the Premier League side will be delighted to get this deal over the line ahead of interest from Dutch club Feyenoord and Italian side Bologna.
It is understood that Lindstrom has signed a contract until the 2026-27 season and will be fully expected to appear for pre-season training with the Toffees in two weeks time.
