Chelsea are set to land the signature of Villarreal goalkeeper Filip Jorgensen for €25 million.
The Blues have been searching for a new shot-stopper in recent weeks and they have now found an agreement to sign Jorgensen.
Their opening bid worth €20m was turned down by Villarreal, but a renewed proposal of around €25m has convinced them to sell.
Jorgensen has also finalised personal terms with the Blues and he is expected to travel to London in the coming hours for a medical.
After signing his contract, the 22-year-old could link up with his new teammates for the pre-season tour of the United States.
Chelsea recently played out a 2-2 draw against Wrexham and they are scheduled to face Celtic in today's friendly game.
The Blues still have Club America and Manchester City in the calendar and Jorgensen could make his non-competitive debut in the US.
Jorgensen is expected to compete with Robert Sanchez for the number one role with Djordje Petrovic and Kepa Arrizabalaga set to be sold.
