Napoli striker Victor Osimhen won't be joining Chelsea on loan this summer, according to his representative.

The Nigeria international is determined to leave the Serie A giants and he has been linked with multiple European clubs this month.

None of them are willing to meet the €130 million release clause in his contract and this has led to claims that he could be loaned out.

David Ornstein reported earlier today that Napoli could be open to loaning out Osimhen to Chelsea with an option to buy next summer.

This has been dismissed by the player's agent, he said: "I read about ‘fantasy exchanges’ with Victor as if he was a package to be delivered quickly."

"This package is the top scorer of the third Scudetto in the history of Napoli. Respect and stop fake news."

The news is a huge blow for the Blues, who can't afford to spend big on a marquee striker this summer due to PSR spending limits.

They may have to look at alternate options in the transfer market. Sporting Lisbon's Viktor Gyokeres could be a possible target.
