Ligue 1 giants Marseille could make a renewed approach to sign Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah in the coming days, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The England international has already agreed personal terms with Les Phoceens, but they are yet to convince the Gunners into a deal.
The club recently made an offer of £23m for the 25-year-old, but the proposal was immediately rejected by the north London giants, as per Romano.
Marseille have since looked at alternative options, but it is claimed that they could return with a third bid for the Gunners graduate pretty soon.
Arsenal want close to £30m for their prized asset, but Marseille are likely to propose a deal worth £26m with a sell-on clause of 10 percent.
The Gunners are open to selling Nketiah at the right price. His departure could pave the way for the arrival of a marquee marksman.
The club are evaluating their options ahead of the new campaign. Sporting Lisbon's Viktor Gyokeres is one of the top names on their radar.
