Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has provided a fresh update on goalkeeper David Raya ahead of the Premier League clash against Leicester City on the road.
The north London giants have had another good start to the campaign and they are currently fourth in the league standings with 11 points on the board.
They are heavy favourites to beat the Foxes at the Emirates Stadium tomorrow and ahead of the game, Arteta has updated on Raya's fitness.
The Spaniard picked up a muscle injury in the 2-2 draw against Manchester City which forced the manager to start 16-year-old Jack Porter in midweek.
Porter played the full 90 minutes of the 5-1 win over Bolton Wanderers in the Carabao Cup third round and he could be on the bench on Saturday too.
Speaking in today's press conference, Arteta acknowledged that Raya is doubtful for the game and will need to be assessed in the coming hours.
He said: "We have to wait another 24 hours. We have to wait 24 hours to see if it’s looking good or not that good."
