Espanyol starlet Pablo Zabaleta is reportedly a target for Sven-Goran Eriksson and Man City this summer. The 23 year old is also believed to be the target of several other La Liga sides, including Valencia and Racing Santander.
Zabaleta is keen on a move to England or Italy, and is not so keen on staying in La Liga for next season.
Eriksson is beginning his rebuilding process for next year, and even the Swede remains uncertain about his own future.
"There are many rumours about our players, but we have not received an offer," said Espanyol's sporting director Paco Herrera.
