Chelsea playmaker Cole Palmer has sent a message to the fans following the 2-1 Premier League win over Newcastle United on Sunday.
The Blues returned to winning ways in the top-flight against the Magpies. Palmer was a key catalyst towards the result with a stand-out performance.
The Englishman provided a brilliant pass into the path of Pedro Neto, who delivered the assist for Nicolas Jackson's first half goal.
The Magpies levelled the scores through Alexander Isak, but the joy was shortlived as Palmer grabbed the winning goal for Chelsea.
Speaking after the game, Palmer credited the fans at Stamford Bridge who were helpful amid the barrage of attacks from the Magpies.
He said: "They were good today. Towards the end especially pushing us over the line. Shoutout to the fans."
With the victory, Chelsea have moved to fifth in the league standings with 17 points, one behind Aston Villa and London rivals Arsenal.
The Blues face a tricky challenge against Manchester United on Sunday. There could be a new manager bounce after Erik ten Hag's exit.
