Manchester United are prepared to swap Marcus Rashford to sign Victor Osimhen next year, according to La Repubblica.
Rashford has struggled for form and consistency over the last 18 months and his future is uncertain under new manager Ruben Amorim.
The Englishman can't operate as a wing-back due to his poor defensive skills while he has also struggled from the number 10 role.
The only solution is to play him up front, but that would hamper the development of Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee.
United are now open to sanctioning his sale and they are looking to negotiate a player-plus-cash deal with Napoli for Osimhen.
Osimhen is presently on a season-long loan with Galatasaray, but he is expected to pursue a bigger club in January or next summer.
The Nigerian star has the option to break his loan spell in January and it is left to be seen whether United open talks with Napoli for him.
Napoli value their marksman at his release clause worth £66m. United are aiming to include Rashford as a makeweight to secure a cheap deal.
