Manchester United are prepared to part ways with midfielder Christian Eriksen during the winter transfer window.
The Dane had a good start to the campaign with the Mancunian giants and he netted four goals and provided three assists in his first 13 games.
Since Ruben Amorim's arrival as manager, Eriksen has made just one appearance. He has been a regular unused substitute.
Eriksen's current deal with United expires at the end of the season and it is claimed that the club are open to a mid-season departure.
The former Brentford man was linked with several clubs over the summer. Ajax looked at the prospect of a reunion with him.
Ajax are said to be contemplating a renewed approach. A deal could materialise this winter depending on Eriksen's stance.
Eriksen was unwilling to accept a huge paycut on his £150,000 per week wages last summer, but he may change his stance.
He could prefer to move elsewhere in January rather than sitting on the bench for the rest of the campaign under Amorim.
