Arsenal may not enter the transfer market for a new forward during the winter transfer window, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Gunners recently suffered a huge setback with Bukayo Saka sustaining a hamstring issue. He has undergone surgery for the same.
Saka won't return to action until March at least, but Romano claims that the Gunners are not exploring the market for a replacement.
The Gunners received good news on Raheem Sterling earlier this week. The forward avoided a potential long-term knee injury.
His early return has changed the club's transfer plans for the New Year and Arsenal may not look to sign a wide attacking player.
The club are also unlikely to pursue a new centre-forward. Alexander Isak is their main target, but he is not available next month.
With Newcastle United right in the mix for the top four, they have no plans of discussing his departure until the end of the season.
Arsenal are prepared to wait rather than opting for an alternative.
