Serie A outfit Torino have made an offer to sign Chelsea midfielder Cesare Casadei, according to Gianluca Di Marzio.
The youngster signed for the Blues from Inter Milan with a good reputation, but he has failed to break into the first-team plans.
Casadei has yet to become a regular in the senior squad and Di Marzio claims that Torino are interested in landing his signature.
The Turin outfit have proposed to sign the 21-year-old on a permanent basis, but are prepared to include a buy-back clause too.
The Blues are open to a temporary deal for the youngster and it remains to be seen whether they consider Torino's transfer offer.
Chelsea are aiming for a couple of signings in the next transfer window and this could coincide with some high-profile departures.
Ben Chilwell and Carney Chukwuemeka are surplus to requirements and could be offloaded on permanent deals in the near future.
Christopher Nkunku could also head for the exit door. The Frenchman's agents are speaking with interested clubs at the moment.
