Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca was asked about Joao Felix following the 2-1 defeat to Brighton & Hove Albion in the FA Cup fourth round.
The Blues bowed out of the FA Cup after a disappointing loss at Brighton. Christopher Nkunku led the line, but he did not provide much of a threat.
With Nicolas Jackson and Marc Guiu injured, Maresca had no other options on the bench. Felix left the Blues for AC Milan on loan before the deadline.
When asked whether the Blues missed Felix, Maresca said: "I don't think we miss Joao. Joao is happy there and we are happy Joao is happy there.
"We had two striker injuries on deadline day, it is something difficult to think. Nico can be back very soon."
Felix has had a fine start to his Rossoneri career. He scored on his debut as Milan beat Roma in the quarter-final of the Coppa Italia.
Milan are open to signing him on a permanent basis in the summer.
