Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is reportedly keen on signing Juventus midfielder Manuel Locatelli in the next transfer window.
The 27-year-old was a top target for Arteta in the summer of 2021, but he decided to join the Bianconeri from Sassuolo instead.
Locatelli's form was far from impressive last season, but he has been transformed under new manager Thiago Motta this term.
The midfielder has excelled from the no.6 role and Juve Live claim that the Gunners could return for his services during the summer.
Juventus are in a tight financial situation at the moment and it is reported that Locatelli could be available in the transfer market for £21m.
He would be a bargain signing for such a price. A transfer could ultimately depend on what happens with Jorginho and Thomas Partey.
The Gunners are poised to sign Real Sociedad's Martin Zubimendi. Locatelli could be pursued if both Jorginho and Partey leave.
The duo have their contracts expiring at the end of the season.
