Abidal may leave Barcelona

French defender Eric Abidal has admitted that he does not know whether his future is at the Catalan side after Pep Guardiola was brought to the club. Abidal has been linked with Man City and Liverpool this summer.

"When you change coaches, you never know," confessed Abidal, "but it's a situation that I have experienced at Monaco with Didier Deschamps.



"If the coach doesn't rate you, it's better to pack your bags, but I am confident I will stay."



Barcelona are expected to have a mass-clearout of their players after another disappointing season.
