Liverpool and Arsenal are set to compete for the signature of Atalanta winger Ademola Lookman this summer, according to TuttoAtalanta.
The Nigerian ace has been in brilliant form for the Serie A outfit this campaign. He has bagged 18 goals and seven assists in all competitions.
He has made the decision to move on in the summer and reports claim that Liverpool and Arsenal are most interested in securing his services.
The Reds see him as a potential replacement for Mohamed Salah who could walk away on a free transfer when his contract expires on June 30.
Arsenal, on the other hand, may consider him as a successor to Leandro Trossard, who could head to the Saudi Pro League this summer.
The Belgian was on the radar of Al-Ittihad last year, but Arsenal were reluctant to part ways with him. The scenario could be different this year.
Trossard has shown signs of regression. The club could be prepared to sanction his sale if there is fresh interest from the Middle East.
