Arsenal are very likely to sign RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko over Alexander Isak this summer, according to journalist Ben Jacobs.
The Gunners are preparing for a busy transfer window. A marquee striker is reportedly the main priority for manager Mikel Arteta.
Isak has been heavily linked, but Jacobs claims that Newcastle United may not sell him if they make the Champions League.
The Magpies are currently one point behind fifth-placed Manchester City, but they have a game in hand over Pep Guardiola's side.
The club could end the season on a high with Champions League football.
With this in mind, Jacobs claims that the Gunners are more likely to recruit Sesko, who has already given the green light to the project.
Sesko opted to prolong his stay at Leipzig last summer, but he is expected to pursue a bigger challenge in the next transfer window.
Personal terms are not expected to be an issue for Arsenal, considering they have been in constant contact with his agent for a while.
