Arsenal and Manchester United have entered talks to sign Lille striker Jonathan David this summer, according to Le10 Sport.
The Gunner and Red Devils are eyeing a marquee striker for the summer and they have been linked with plenty of names lately.
However, according to Le10 Sport, it is claimed that the duo are in concrete talks with the representative of David over a free transfer.
David has been a long-term target for Premier League teams and he is prepared to move to England when his contract expires on June 30.
Arsenal and United have held talks with his agent, but the Gunners could have an edge over the Red Devils due to Champions League football.
The Gunners are almost assured to finish in the top five to make the competition, but United have to win the Europa League to do so.
David could be tempted to join the Gunners, who were hot on the trail for his services during his time at Gent. He chose to join Lille instead.
