Manchester United midfielder Kobbie Mainoo could leave the club this summer amid a contract stand-off, according to Manchester Evening News.
The Red Devils have been negotiating a new deal with the Englishman over the past year, but have failed to find a breakthrough thus far.
United are prepared to offer him £120,000 per week to extend his contract, but Mainoo is adamant that he won't accept less than £180,000 weekly.
There has been an impasse as a result and reports claim that United could sanction his departure for around £70 million during the summer.
The Red Devils could ideally prefer to sell him to a foreign club, but Chelsea could be the leading contenders for the versatile wonderkid.
The Blues made a tentative enquiry at the start of the year and could follow up their interest with a serious transfer offer when the season ends.
Mainoo has yet to decide on his next move, but he could be tempted to continue in the Premier League with Enzo Maresca's side next term.
