Arsenal have reportedly made contact with the representatives of Algerian winger Mohamed Amoura over a summer transfer.

The Gunners are expected to bolster the wide attacking department and they have been linked with plenty of names over the past year.

L'Equipe now claim that the club have contacted the entourage of Amoura, who has managed 19 goal contributions for Wolfsburg on loan.

Wolfsburg have the option to purchase him for £12 million and they could sell him immediately for a profit of around £17m to £21m.

A £29m price tag should not trouble the Gunners. It remains to be seen whether they make a formal transfer bid for his services.

Amoura's arrival could spell doubts over the future of Leandro Trossard, who has been linked with a move to the Saudi Pro League.

Amoura can play on the left wing or as a main striker. His arrival could pave the way for Trossard's move to the Middle East.
