Arsenal have not ruled out the possibility of signing Newcastle United striker Alexander Isak this summer, according to David Ornstein.
The Gunners have struggled in the final third this campaign with the absence of a regular goalscoring number nine. Kai Havertz had a decent start to the campaign but has been sidelined since February with a hamstring injury.
Ornstein has now revealed that Arsenal are keeping their options for a new striker and they are still keen on Isak. The Swede has three years left on his contract, but the Magpies could still sell him for big money.
Isak was on the Gunners' radar during his time at Real Sociedad. The 26-year-old has developed into an elite striker at Newcastle and has registered 27 goals and six assists in all competitions this campaign.
Only four of those have come from the penalty spot. If Arsenal can purchase Isak this summer, they could become serious challengers for the Premier League title next season.
