Arsenal are eyeing a shock move for Chelsea midfielder Andrey Santos, according to French outlet Le10 Sport.
The Gunners have already sealed a verbal agreement to land Martin Zubimendi from Real Sociedad this summer.
The Spaniard will replace Jorginho in the first-team squad.
Meanwhile, talks are ongoing with Thomas Partey over a renewal but there has been no progress at the current point.
Partey could walk away when his contract expires on June 30 and this could pave the way for another midfield signing.
Le10 Sport claim that Arsenal are keen on landing the services of Santos, who is also attracting interest from Paris Saint-Germain.
The 21-year-old, who can play as a defensive or central midfielder, is presently on a season-long loan at Strasbourg.
The Brazilian star recently became the first midfielder to register 100 tackles in the French top-flight this campaign.
Santos was signed for just £17m by the Blues from Vasco da Gama and could be sold for around £40m later this year.
