Manchester United are not exploring the possibility of signing Napoli striker Victor Osimhen this summer, according to ESPN.
The Red Devils are determined to land a new striker with the inconsistency shown by Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee last term.
Ipswich Town star Liam Delap was the priority target for the club last month, but he has chosen to join rivals Chelsea instead.
Osimhen has been named as an alternative, but ESPN claim that the Red Devils have no plans of pursuing a deal for him.
United are capable of paying the striker's £64 million release clause in instalments, but they can't afford his wage demands.
Osimhen is keen on earning a gross salary of £350,000 per week, which would make him the joint-highest earner at United.
The Red Devils have no desire to make such a huge outlay. Osimhen is therefore unlikely to move to the Premier League.
He is most likely to head to Saudi with Al Hilal.
