Manchester United have made a second bid worth £60 million to sign Brentford winger Bryan Mbeumo, according to Ben Jacobs.
The Red Devils recently bolstered their attack with the purchase of Wolverhampton Wanderers playmaker Matheus Cunha.
The club are now keen on landing Mbeumo from the Bees. The Cameroonian star has already given the green light to join the club.
United recently had an opening bid worth £55m turned down, and they have now made an improved proposal of £60m to sign him.
Brentford are yet to respond to the proposal, but they are most likely to turn it down. The club could hold out for £70m, as per Fabrizio Romano.
Mbeumo had a sensational 2024/25 campaign in the Premier League. He registered 20 goals and eight assists from 38 appearances.
He has developed into an elite winger during his time in west London, and now has his sights on joining the Red Devils next season.
If United can't find an agreement, the likes of Arsenal, Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur could enter the race for his services.
