Manchester United have made an improved offer to sign Brentford winger Bryan Mbeumo, according to journalist Sebastien Vidal.
The Red Devils recently bolstered their attack with the purchase of Matheus Cunha from Wolves, and they are now keen on landing Mbeumo too.
The Cameroonian star wants to join the club amid interest from Tottenham Hotspur, and United have now made an improved bid for him.
Their initial offer worth £55 million was turned down by the Bees. They have now proposed to pay £65 million plus add-ons for his signature.
Mbeumo has developed into one of the best wingers in the Premier League. He notched up 20 goals and eight assists for the London side last term.
He is prepared for the next step in his career. Despite United's lack of Champions League football, he prefers to join them over their rivals.
Aside from Spurs, he has turned down advances from Newcastle and Arsenal. Mbeumo could earn around £250,000 per week at United.
