Manchester United winger Marcus Rashford has turned down Chelsea and Aston Villa amid his ambition to join Barcelona this summer, according to Sport.
The England international spent the backend of last season on loan with Villa. He had a good stint with 10 goal contributions from 17 appearances in all competitions.
The Midlands outfit had the option to re-sign him for £40 million, but they opted against the same after he refused to lower his £325,000 per week salary.
Sport now claim that Rashford has rejected the likes of Villa, Chelsea and Newcastle United due to his long-term dream of playing for Barcelona.
The Catalan giants are on the verge of landing Nico Williams from Athletic Bilbao, but have not given up on signing Rashford on a temporary deal.
They have reportedly asked the 27-year-old to stay patient and could make a late approach. They see him as a backup behind striker Robert Lewandowski.
Lewandowski had some injury concerns during the back end of last season and the Blaugrana want to use Rashford as a rotational option alongside him.
