Valencia centre-back Cristhian Mosquera has received permission to travel to London following an agreement with Premier League club Arsenal.
The Gunners opened negotiations to sign the Spain international earlier this month and they have eventually secured a deal for him.
Valencia were holding out for around €25 million for his services, but the London giants have finalised a fee of less than €20m.
Mosquera was quite clear that he wanted to join the Gunners and Los Che have now granted him permission to undergo his medical.
The Spaniard comes with a good reputation from La Liga. He is a strong ball-playing centre-back, who is brilliant in ground duels.
Mosquera was on the radar of Real Madrid earlier this summer and he should be a fantastic acquisition for Mikel Arteta's side.
He won't be a regular starter for the Gunners, considering William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes are the first-choice centre-backs.
He could be seen as a long-term replacement for Saliba, who has been tipped to move to Real Madrid in the coming seasons.
