Manchester United attacker Marcus Rashford is set to join Barcelona on loan with an option to buy next summer.
The Englishman fell out-of-favour under manager Ruben Amorim in December last year. He spent the second half of the season on loan with Aston Villa.
Villa had the option to purchase him permanently for 40 million pounds, but they did not receive the green light from the forward, who refused to accept a pay cut.
Rashford has now agreed to join Barcelona on loan with a buy clause. The United graduate was determined to sign for the Blaugrana and has finally got his wish.
United have also given the green light for the initial loan deal. The Catalan giants will be covering the forward's entire wages for the upcoming campaign.
The Red Devils could receive a fee in the region of 30-35million pounds for a permanent transfer. A penalty fee will be paid if the buy clause is not triggered.
