Manchester United have made their transfer decision on Benjamin Sesko, according to The Athletic.
The Red Devils are determined to land a marquee striker this summer and Sesko recently reemerged as a potential target for the club.
However, they are unlikely to follow up their interest. The Athletic claim that Leipzig's price tag combined with Sesko's wage demands don't suit United.
The Bundesliga outfit are looking for a staggering £87 million to part ways with the Slovenian despite him scoring just 13 league goals last campaign.
United obviously don't believe Sesko is worth that amount and are likely to focus elsewhere in the pursuit of a marquee centre-forward this summer.
The Red Devils are also keeping tabs on Aston Villa's Ollie Watkins and Chelsea's Nicolas Jackson and they could be more lucrative targets.
The club are likely to focus on outgoings in the coming weeks before pursuing a marquee striker to bolster the squad before the deadline.
