Manchester United have made their final transfer decision on Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson, according to The Athletic.
The Red Devils are planning to sign a new marksman this summer and Jackson has been one of the top names on their radar.
The club's hierarchy appreciate the qualities for the Blues star, but they are unlikely to proceed with a formal approach as per reports.
United are unable to cover the cost for the 24-year-old striker. The Blues reportedly value him at a staggering fee of £100 million.
Hence, the Mancunian giants have narrowed down their search for a new striker to two options in Benjamin Sesko and Ollie Watkins.
There is a possibility that Sesko could continue his development at RB Leipzig next season with Xavi Simons on his way out.
The Bundesliga outfit are expected to secure at least €70m from his departure and may not need to sell Sesko to balance their books.
