A report from Spain suggested that Chelsea midfielder Enzo could be about to leave the Blues after Paris St Germain submitted a 150 million euro transfer bid, but Fabrizio Romano has ruled out a transfer saying that news of a bid is wide of the mark. Enzo is expected to be a critical member of the Blues' squad for the upcoming season.
The 24-year-old, who arrived at Chelsea in 2023 from Benfica in a transfer deal worth £107 million, is said to be happy in West London and not looking for a move after helping the Blues to victory in the Club World Cup and the Europe Conference League last season. Last campaign, Enzo appeared 53 times in all competitions and scored nine goals, a healthy return for the defensive midfielder.
Paris St Germain manager Luis Enrique is said to be a massive fan of Enzo and wants to bring a new midfielder to his squad, but the acceptance of any offer is likely to be unlikely at Chelsea.
Despite the rumour, no bid for Enzo has been received so far this summer.
