Manchester United will reportedly need to pay £43 million to sign Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma this summer, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.
The Red Devils presently have Andre Onana as the undisputed starter in goal, but the Cameroon international could be sold in the coming weeks.
Onana has just returned from a lengthy hamstring injury, and reports claim that the club could cut their losses on the former Ajax shot-stopper.
Amidst this, they have been linked with an ambitious move for Donnarumma, who has been deemed surplus to requirements at the European champions.
PSG manager Luis Enrique recently instructed the club to sign Lucas Chevalier from Lille and has opened the door for Donnarumma's departure as a result.
United have a good working relationship with PSG, having signed Manuel Ugarte last summer. They could now bring Donnarumma to Old Trafford before the deadline.
PSG have set an asking price between £35m and £43m for the Italy international, who is also on the radar of Manchester City.
