Chelsea want to pay only £25 million to sign Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho this summer, according to Sky Sports.

The Blues are aiming to bolster their attack further, and they are interested in signing both Garnacho and Xavi Simons before the deadline.

Garnacho has already agreed on personal terms with the London giants, but talks are still ongoing over the transfer fee for his services.

United want a package of £50 million for the playmaker, but reports claim that the Blues are only willing to pay around half of that.

Chelsea are confident of signing the attacker with no interest from elsewhere. Garnacho is adamant that he won't move to another club.

United's hands are tied at the moment, but it would come as a big surprise if they are prepared to sanction his sale for such a low transfer fee.

Meanwhile, it has been claimed that Garnacho would be happy to sit on the bench at United this season if he does not move to the Blues.
