Manchester United are on course to sign Antwerp goalkeeper Senne Lammens before the transfer deadline, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Belgian has already agreed personal terms with the Gunners, and talks are now underway with Antwerp to find an agreement for him.
Antwerp want 20 million euros for the 23-year-old shot-stopper, but United are likely to negotiate a lower fee upfront with some add-ons.
The Jupiler Pro League club are widely expected to sanction his transfer, having already brought in a new goalkeeper to replace him.
Manchester City have also been linked with Lammens on many occasions, but Pep Guardiola's side have changed their focus elsewhere.
They are keen on landing Gianluigi Donnarumma from Paris Saint-Germain instead. A deal depends on Ederson heading out.
The Brazilian has his sights on moving to Turkey with Galatasaray, and talks are ongoing behind the scenes over the transfer fee.
Hence, United have a free run at landing Lammens, considering Inter Milan have yet to finalise terms with the highly-rated goalkeeper.
